Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking for your next opportunity within children's residential care?
We are working with a well-established provider looking for a Deputy Manager to join their team in Bognor Regis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager who is passionate about supporting children and young people and wants to play an active role in the day-to-day running of a residential home.
As Deputy Manager , you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where young people can thrive.
The Deputy Manager role
As Deputy Manager , you will:
Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
Lead, motivate and support the care team.
Promote high standards of safeguarding and care.
Support staff through supervision, guidance and development.
Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and reviews.
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
Work alongside families, social workers and other professionals.
Support the home to meet Ofsted and regulatory requirements.
Take responsibility for the home in the Registered Manager's absence.
About you
We are looking for a Deputy Manager with previous experience within children's residential care and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people.
You will ideally have:
Experience at Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager level within children's residential care.
A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
Strong safeguarding knowledge.
Experience supporting young people with challenging or complex needs.
Good leadership and communication skills.
The confidence to lead a team and make decisions when required.
A full UK driving licence.
