Their platform enables finance teams, accountants and businesses to manage complex financial, accounting and tax processes through scalable, cloud-based software.

With a strong reputation for innovation and product excellence within the AccounTech space, the company operates with a product-led mindset and collaborates closely across product, engineering and customer-facing teams to deliver meaningful value to customers.

The role will also involve competitor analysis, market research and identifying opportunities to strengthen the product’s competitive positioning within the Accounting and Tax software market.

This position offers a fully remote working environment within the UK and is paying up to £70,000 plus bonus.

Senior Product Manager (AccounTech) – Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define the product roadmap for key areas of the platform, ensuring alignment with company strategy and commercial objectives
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth
  • Develop and refine product positioning, messaging and value propositions

  • Work closely with sales, marketing and leadership teams to support product launches and go-to-market initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, customer value and revenue growth
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback, market insights and product data to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure commercial priorities are reflected in the product roadmap
  • Track product performance and identify opportunities to improve adoption, usability and outcomes
  • Communicate product vision, priorities and market insights clearly to internal stakeholders

  • Strong commercial product management experience including go-to-market strategy, pricing or product positioning
  • Experience conducting competitor analysis and market research to inform product strategy
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing and leadership teams
  • Ability to translate customer and market insights into clear product strategies and opportunities
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use market and product data to guide decision making

Senior Product Manager (AccounTech) – Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within Accounting Software, Tax Software or broader FinTech / AccounTech environments
