A high-growth Cloud Managed Service Provider is looking to hire a driven and strategic Sales Manager to take ownership of new business growth across the UK’s professional services sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in cloud infrastructure, IT support, or managed services, looking to step into a role that blends personal sales execution with people management.

This is a hybrid role combining hands-on sales execution with leadership of a junior sales professional. You will be responsible for driving new business within the UK’s SMB to mid-market space, particularly within regulated professional services such as legal, accountancy, financial services, and consulting. Alongside delivering against your own revenue targets, you’ll coach, support, and develop a junior salesperson, ensuring performance and career development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and deliver new business revenue targets through direct sales efforts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close.
  • Lead from the front with outbound prospecting and consultative selling across infrastructure, hosting, security, and support offerings.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with IT and business leaders across law firms, accountancy practices, and other professional services clients.
  • Develop and coach a junior sales team member, supporting their learning, development, and success.
  • Maintain a strong, up-to-date pipeline in CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover and outstanding client experience.
  • Continually improve sales processes, messaging, and targeting strategies based on market insights and performance data.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within a Cloud MSP, IT services provider, or SaaS vendor.
  • Previous exposure to the professional services sector (e.g., legal, accounting, financial services, consulting).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, managed services, and IT security within regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed new business targets (ideally £15K+ MRR per quarter).
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members, with a desire to take on a formal leadership role.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and a structured, data-driven approach to pipeline management.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a remote-first, high-accountability environment.
