Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative Finance Software provider, is looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team. SDR – The Role
As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, identifying and qualifying leads to support the sales pipeline. Your main responsibility is to generate interest, book meetings, and lay the groundwork for successful sales conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively engage with finance leaders, CFOs, and key stakeholders through outbound prospecting.
Utilise a mix of cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales engagement strategies to generate interest.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a smooth handover to the Account Executive team.
Conduct research to understand prospective clients’ needs and position the company’s SaaS solutions effectively.
Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline status in the CRM system.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and financial technology developments.
SDR – Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced SaaS sales environment.
What You Bring:
6 – 12 Months experience of working in an SDR role for a Saas business.
Experience booking meetings for AEs and selling into finance teams is ideal.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently.
Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven attitude.
A proactive and coachable mindset, with a desire to grow into an Account Executive role.
Ability to handle objections and articulate value propositions clearly.
Organised, with good time management and CRM usage skills
