Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative Finance Software provider, is looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the thriving SaaS industry, targeting mid-market and enterprise organisations and setting the foundation for a rewarding sales career. With a clear pathway to an Account Executive (AE) role upon success, this position is perfect for ambitious individuals looking to progress in the sales field.
As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, identifying and qualifying leads to support the sales pipeline. Your main responsibility is to generate interest, book meetings, and lay the groundwork for successful sales conversations.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively engage with finance leaders, CFOs, and key stakeholders through outbound prospecting.
- Utilise a mix of cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales engagement strategies to generate interest.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a smooth handover to the Account Executive team.
- Conduct research to understand prospective clients’ needs and position the company’s SaaS solutions effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and financial technology developments.
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced SaaS sales environment.
What You Bring:- 6 months of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (B2B SaaS experience is a plus but not required).
- Experience booking meetings for AE’s and selling into Finance teams is Ideal.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven attitude.
- A proactive and coachable mindset, with a desire to grow into an Account Executive role.
- Ability to handle objections and articulate value propositions clearly.
- Organised, with good time management and CRM usage skills.
