Role Overview
As a Pre‑Sales Engineer, you’ll support the sales process by showcasing the value and capabilities of the company’s SaaS platform to prospective clients. Working closely with Account Executives, you’ll understand client requirements, design tailored demonstrations, and communicate how the solution solves operational, workflow, or financial challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to deliver tailored, high‑impact demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Translate technical and functional product capabilities into clear, outcome‑driven narratives.
- Engage with prospects to understand workflows, pain points, and business requirements.
- Configure demo environments and data to reflect real‑world customer scenarios.
- Support technical inputs for proposals, tenders, and RFP responses.
- Provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams based on customer conversations and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of the platform’s modules and wider product ecosystem.
- Ensure smooth handover to Professional Services following contract signature.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Pre‑Sales, Solutions Consultant, Technical Consultant, or similar role within SaaS or software.
- Strong understanding of operational, workflow, or financial processes within a business environment.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and facilitating discovery conversations.
- Hands‑on experience configuring or demonstrating software (beyond slide‑based presentations).
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence buying cycles.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in LegalTech, Practice Management, or Legal Accounting systems is an advantage, but applications from candidates across other software domains and consulting backgrounds are highly encouraged.
