Our client is a growing SaaS provider in the hospitality technology space. Their platform helps hotels and resorts streamline operations, enhance guest experience, and maximise revenue through integrated tools covering reservations, ecommerce, experience management, and unified payments.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Engineering Lead to head up the Integrations Team, reporting directly into the Head of Engineering. This role is focused on delivering high-quality backend integrations that power the core platform. You will lead a team of engineers, set technical direction, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and line manage a team of c.4 engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Define the technical strategy for backend integrations across the platform.
- Work closely with product and other engineering teams to design robust integration solutions.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.
- Oversee technical delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Champion engineering excellence and foster a culture of collaboration.
Required Skills/Experience
- Strong background in backend engineering and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and .NET (open to wider technology experience but backend heavy).
- Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Beneficial: Previous experience working in the hospitality technology sector or with related SaaS platforms.
