A lovely, welcoming family based in St Albans are looking for a warm, proactive and engaging nanny to care for their 7-year-old daughter on a 9-month maternity cover contract, starting in early September. This is a fantastic role for a nanny who enjoys building meaningful connections with school-aged children and becoming a valued part of a family's routine.
The Role
- Monday to Friday, 1:30pm – 6:30pm
- 25 hours per week
- School holidays will generally follow a similar structure, with some flexibility
- A driver is essential, and a duty car will be provided.
You will be caring for a bright, happy and well-mannered 7-year-old girl who will be turning 8 in October. She is mature for her age, enjoys being around adults, and thrives with calm, respectful communication. She has a wide range of interests including violin, horse riding, Muay Thai, Lego, arts and crafts, football, bike rides, park outings and reading.
Duties Include
- School pick-ups and taking to after-school activities
- Supporting with homework
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks
- Planning fun, engaging activities and outings
- Supporting organisation of the child's routine and belongings
- Children's laundry
- Batch cooking and preparing meals for the child
