The predicted salary is between 1500 - 1700 Β£ per month.
You will primarily live in university halls for one week on and one week off providing support to our client on a live in basis. You will need to support with all moving and handling and personal care tasks. Outside of these times, you will divide the duties between yourself and the other carer. At night you will sleep however be on call for emergencies and support the waking night person when required. The client's routine differs from day to day due to university lectures and social events he chooses to attend, you need to be flexible in your approach. There will be plenty of time for you to have a break throughout the day between your duties.
Main duties of the job:
- Support with all moving and handling and personal care tasks.
- Divide duties with another carer outside of live-in hours.
- Be on call for emergencies during the night.
- Support the client with his complex needs on a 2:1 basis.

Your responsibilities as our Live In Care Support Assistant will include:
- Meeting our client's complex care needs such as moving and handling, personal care, secretion and saturation management, use of ventilation and administering medication as well as accessing the community and maintaining the home environment.
Skills and Experience required:
- Good communication skills and a desire to care for others.
- Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
