We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support our clients with autism and a learning disability out in the community and at home.

This role is for 20 hours per week and can include days or sleeping nights.

Main duties of the job

Role overview and responsibilities:

  • Assist and support vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence.
  • Provide companionship, support with housework, running errands, and supporting with preparing and cooking meals.
  • Administering medication may be required.

Job responsibilities

Note: We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support a client based in Bolton. This role will include training before starting, while we carry out our recruitment processes. Shifts available are days and sleeping nights. Sleeping nights are paid at £8.72 per hour and day shifts are paid at £12.75 per hour.

We offer a competitive rate of pay after training completion and provide time to complete training before you start.

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant

Your responsibilities include assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose, promoting independence, and providing companionship. You may assist with housework, errands, meals, and basic medication administration where required.

Skills and Experience

You are required to have good communication skills and a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK driving licence and some previous experience would be advantageous.
