About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £12.60-£12.75 per hour depending on placement.
This position is a bank position and available shifts willinclude day shifts and occasional waking or sleep-in nights.
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
- Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
- Administering medication when required
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
- A caring and empathetic nature
- A genuine desire to support others
- Basic IT and record-keeping skills
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
