We are currently recruiting for an Outpatient Pharmacist on a full time basis (40 hours per week), to work at our site in Lister Hospital, Stevenage. The post holder will work in the main Outpatient Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Satellite of the hospital to provide a safe, efficient and patient focused service. The post holder will work in delivering an efficient, convenient and accessible outpatient pharmacy service at YourHealth Pharmacy which meets our patients and company’s needs.
This includes being responsible for the day-to-day running of the Pharmacy as a Responsible Pharmacist, and clinical screening of a variety of prescriptions including oral chemotherapy. You will also have the opportunity to drive pharmacy services and retail offering, as well as build relationships with the clinical team in the hospital to improve patient care and access to pharmacy expertise. Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential. We would welcome applications from pharmacists who are either qualified Independent Prescribers or are interested in developing towards this in the future, with potential support for further training.
