We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, forward thinking and highly motivated pharmacist to join our Outpatient Pharmacy on a full time basis (40 hours per week) in Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Northwood. The ideal candidate will have dispensary based experience and evidence of good clinical knowledge.

The post holder will work in delivering an efficient, convenient and accessible outpatient pharmacy service at YourHealth Pharmacy which meets our patients and company’s needs. This includes being responsible for the day-to-day running of the Pharmacy as a Responsible Pharmacist, and clinical screening of a variety of prescriptions including oral chemotherapy.

You will also have the opportunity to drive pharmacy services and retail offering, as well as build relationships with the clinical team in the hospital to improve patient care and access to pharmacy expertise. This role offers a Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekend requirement, supporting an excellent work-life balance. An Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential. We would welcome applications from pharmacists who are either qualified Independent Prescribers or are interested in developing towards this in the future, with potential support for further training.

  • Clinical screening, including Oral Chemotherapy.
  • Private Pharmacy Services including Health Checks, Smoking Cessation, Travel & Flu Vaccinations.
  • Retail offering, including Over the Counter advice.
  • Home Delivery Service.
  • Additional appliance services.
