An ambitious and growing marketing agency is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and scale its internal marketing strategy. This is a pivotal role focused on building a structured, commercially driven top‑of‑funnel engine. You will take ownership of segmentation, demand generation and lead acquisition, ensuring marketing activity translates into measurable pipeline growth. This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity to shape positioning, define target audiences and build a marketing function that directly contributes to revenue.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will design and execute a marketing strategy that delivers qualified opportunities and supports sustainable growth. You will bring clarity to audience segmentation, sharpen the agency’s market positioning and implement campaigns that generate meaningful engagement with the right prospects. The focus is on quality over volume, insight over assumption and ROI over vanity metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)
  • Identify and prioritise high‑value sectors and growth segments
  • Develop targeted messaging frameworks aligned to audience needs
  • Ensure clear and differentiated market positioning
  • Develop and execute multi‑channel demand generation campaigns
  • Build structured nurture journeys across digital channels
  • Strengthen inbound lead quality and conversion
  • Align closely with business development to optimise MQL to SQL handover
  • Establish KPIs aligned to revenue and pipeline objectives
  • Track performance, conversion metrics and campaign ROI
  • Optimise activity based on data and insight
  • Provide clear reporting to leadership on marketing impact
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align growth priorities
  • Ensure consistent brand and messaging across all channels
  • Contribute to broader commercial strategy discussions
Experience & Skills
  • Proven B2B marketing experience (agency, digital, tech or professional services preferred)
  • Strong experience in segmentation and audience development
  • Demonstrable success in top‑of‑funnel strategy and demand generation
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce or similar)
  • Strong commercial awareness and focus on revenue impact
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a standalone marketing role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with performance marketing, paid media, SEO or account‑based marketing would be advantageous.
Measures of Success
  • Growth in qualified pipeline
  • Improved funnel conversion rates
  • Revenue contribution from marketing‑sourced leads
  • Clear return on marketing investment

This is an opportunity for a Marketing Manager who wants ownership, strategic influence and measurable impact. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the next phase of growth.
