We’re seeking an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of a busy and diverse technology function during a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is an opportunity for a hands‑on technology leader to oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, manage infrastructure and security, lead a small internal team, and ensure technology services continue to support the wider business effectively.

Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a secure, reliable, and high‑performing technology environment while delivering projects, managing suppliers, and driving operational excellence for a well‑established organisation recognised as a local employer of choice.

As IT Manager you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the day‑to‑day management of the IT function
  • Owning core business systems, infrastructure, and cloud services
  • Managing Microsoft 365 environments and Azure‑based services
  • Overseeing cyber security, risk management, and compliance activities
  • Managing third‑party technology and support partners
  • Delivering IT projects aligned to business priorities
  • Managing budgets, suppliers, and governance processes
  • Leading, supporting, and developing a small internal IT team

Essential Experience

  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Experience managing Azure services and cloud infrastructure
  • Proven IT operations and systems management background
  • Experience overseeing security operations and risk management
  • Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge
  • Project management and delivery experience
  • Budget and supplier management experience
  • Experience managing third‑party service providers
  • Previous team leadership and people management experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
