We’re partnering with a well-established and growing education technology business that is scaling globally across North America, EMEA, and APAC. As part of continued growth, they are hiring a VP of Sales to take ownership of the UK commercial function and play a key leadership role across the wider business. This is a senior commercial leadership position with genuine influence. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to shape regional strategy, support a growing sales team, and help implement the sales structure, processes, and playbooks needed for long-term success.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, leading, and improving. You’ll inherit an existing sales structure while helping refine how the team operates, develops pipeline, closes business, and scales effectively. This is not a purely strategic leadership role — you’ll be expected to remain commercially active, support deals, drive revenue personally, and lead from the front. The successful person will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, helping to distribute responsibility, improve structure, and ensure sales performance is sustainable as the business grows.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the UK and EU sales function and regional commercial performance
  • Lead, coach, and support a small but growing sales team
  • Manage direct reports across sales and solution-focused functions
  • Develop and implement scalable sales processes and playbooks
  • Work closely with executive leadership to shape GTM strategy and territory planning
  • Support team performance while also contributing to personal revenue targets
  • Drive pipeline generation, forecasting, and sales execution
  • Partner closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams
  • Identify market opportunities across higher education and broader education sectors
  • Build strong relationships with universities, colleges, and education organisations
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, reporting, and forecasting discipline
  • Help improve structure and accountability across the sales organisation

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role (VP Sales, Head of Sales, Commercial Director, or similar)
  • Strong SaaS, technology, or EdTech background
  • Experience selling into education markets — particularly higher education, universities, or colleges
  • Experience managing teams while remaining commercially hands-on
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, forecasting, and territory planning
  • Track record of building or improving sales processes and playbooks
  • Comfortable operating in a scaling business environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a pragmatic, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude

Package & Benefits

  • 100,000K base salary
  • 50% OTE commission package
  • Fully remote role
  • Senior leadership visibility and influence
  • Flexible working environment
  • Strong opportunity to shape a growing EMEA operation
  • Long-term progression within a global organisation

Why Join?
