Your Code Recruitment is working with an established and growing technology business in Leeds to recruit a Marketing Executive – Events & Partnerships.
This is an excellent opportunity for a B2B marketer with around 2–4 years' experience who wants to take greater ownership of events, partnerships and customer engagement.
Rather than being a purely digital or content-focused marketing position, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering an annual programme of events and engagement activities, including roundtables, dinners, webinars and third-party events.
You'll also work closely with strategic partners to identify opportunities for joint events, campaigns, content and introductions that generate meaningful engagement and commercial opportunities.
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you'll join a collaborative marketing function within an established technology business where you'll have plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas and take ownership.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Own and develop the annual events and engagement programme
- Plan and deliver customer and prospect events, including roundtables, dinners and webinars
- Coordinate participation in relevant external and third-party events
- Identify appropriate audiences, themes and formats for events
- Manage events from initial concept through to delivery and follow-up
- Measure event performance, engagement and return on investment
- Develop and activate relationships with strategic business partners
- Identify opportunities for joint events, content, campaigns, advocacy and introductions
- Work closely with sales and other teams to turn engagement activity into commercial opportunities
- Support wider B2B marketing campaigns and communications
- Create email, social media and campaign content
- Assist with website content and conversion rate optimisation
- Create company documents, information sheets and marketing collateral
- Report on marketing activity and provide insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate marketing and CRM data
What We're Looking For
- Around 2–4 years' experience in a marketing role
- Previous experience within events, partnerships or B2B marketing
- Hands-on experience planning and delivering events
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using CRM or marketing automation platforms – Hub Spot would be particularly useful
- Broad knowledge of B2B marketing channels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience measuring marketing activity and using data to make recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools
- A proactive approach and confidence bringing new ideas to the table
Previous experience within technology, IT services, Saa S, MSP or another B2B environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.
