The role
This is an opportunity for a Web Developer who enjoys building, improving, and maintaining modern web platforms in a collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with designers and senior developers to support existing systems and contribute to new functionality across a range of web applications. - Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Working with designers to deliver responsive, accessible, and user-friendly websites
- Assisting with the build and rollout of new features and enhancements
- Debugging and resolving issues across different browsers and devices
- Ensuring websites are fully responsive and cross-browser compatible
- Taking part in code reviews and contributing to development standards
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver projects to agreed timelines
What we’re looking for
- Practical experience with the Laravel framework (routes, controllers, middleware, Blade)
- Strong grounding in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience working with WordPress
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Basic database knowledge (MySQL or similar)
- Experience building responsive layouts using frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
- A detail-focused approach with an emphasis on clean, readable code

- Basic image editing knowledge using Photoshop or similar tools
Desirable (but not essential)

- Experience integrating or working with APIs
- Knowledge of build tools or package managers (NPM, Webpack, etc.)
- Awareness of SEO best practices
- Experience testing across multiple browsers
- Familiarity with Linux environments or WSL
Additional information
As this is a smaller business, flexibility is important. From time to time, you may be asked to support other areas of the operation where needed.
