The YourCode Group is happy to be partnered with the Scientistic Software company, which is building software solutions to make renewable energy. We are currently recruiting for a Software Test Engineer to join their team to help change this world with 3D Visualisation Software technologies! This is a significant opportunity to work on real-world problems and be the one to help get rid of these problems. This is a hands-on development opportunity which involves both legacy and greenfield projects. Working mainly within Manual Testing, there will be a chance to develop their Automation Testing Function and develop personally and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Support work with Continuous Integration, Testing and Deployment Strategy.
- Certification Testing and Performance Testing.
- Actively participate in the resolution of complex technical problems.
- Implement and assist with automation testing where appropriate.
- Create, review, execute and maintain test scripts for both automated and manual.
- Produce appropriate documentation.
- Share knowledge of the code-base and encourage “shared code ownership”.
- Identify new technologies where applicable.
- Take ownership of code quality and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements / Experience in:
- 5+ years’ experience within Manual QA / Testing role in an Agile setting.
- Experienced in some programming languages like C++, C# or Python.
- A desire to learn and progress in things like Automation.
- Experience in Agile working with SCRUM, TDD and BDD principles.
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience in collecting, analysing and presenting UAT results.
- Familiarity with a test-first development methodology such as TDD or BDD.
- Experience in 3D Visualisation Software and testing with Ranorex would be desirable!
