You’ll be joining an established engineering team that’s at the forefront of developing cutting-edge ecommerce and core business systems. The Role
You’ll be an integral part of the engineering function, designing and developing modern solutions for ecommerce platforms and enterprise service buses. Working through the full software lifecycle, you’ll play a key role from concept and design to deployment and optimisation.
This position is hybrid (Normanton-based) with the opportunity for occasional European travel and continued professional development through a dedicated training budget and ongoing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications using C#, .NET, and React.
- Work across ecommerce and integration systems to support business-wide digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver efficient, modern solutions.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to continuous improvement.
Tech Stack & Skills
Essential:
- Strong experience with C#, .NET, React, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with Razor Pages, HTML, relational databases, and MicroServices.
- Understanding of OOP, REST, JSON, WebAPI, and authentication servers.
- Experience working with GIT and message/event bus systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of Mediator design pattern, NoSQL databases, or Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
