Are you a passionate Software Engineer who enjoys building digital solutions? The Role
You’ll be an integral part of the engineering function, designing and developing modern solutions for e-commerce platforms and enterprise service buses. Working through the full software lifecycle, you’ll play a key role from concept and design to deployment and optimisation. This position is hybrid (Normanton-based) with the opportunity for occasional European travel and continued professional development through a dedicated training budget and ongoing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications using C#, .NET, and React.
- Work across e-commerce and integration systems to support business-wide digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver efficient, modern solutions.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to continuous improvement.
Experience with HTML, relational databases, and MicroServices. Understanding of OOP, REST, JSON, WebAPI, and authentication servers, Razor Pages. Experience working with GIT and message/event bus systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS, or Azure. Knowledge of Mediator design pattern, NoSQL databases, or Elasticsearch. Familiarity with GitLab, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
