We're recruiting a Marketing Executive – Events & Partnerships to join an established and growing technology business in Leeds.
This is a great opportunity for a marketer with 2–4 years' experience who enjoys the relationship-building side of marketing and wants to take ownership of B2B events, partnerships and engagement campaigns.
You'll report directly to the Director of Marketing and help develop an annual programme designed to engage customers, prospects and strategic partners through events, content, campaigns and collaborative marketing activity.
The Role
As Marketing Executive, you'll be responsible for
- Planning and delivering B2B events including roundtables, dinners and webinars
- Managing participation in relevant third-party events
- Developing the annual events and engagement programme
- Identifying target audiences, event themes and formats
- Managing event delivery from planning through to follow-up
- Tracking event performance, engagement and ROI
- Building and developing relationships with strategic partners
- Creating opportunities for joint events, campaigns, content and introductions
- Working with sales and marketing colleagues to generate commercial opportunities
- Creating email, social media and website content
- Supporting website content and conversion optimisation
- Producing marketing collateral and company materials
- Reporting on marketing performance and providing actionable insights
- Maintaining accurate CRM and marketing data
About You
We're looking for someone with
- 2–4 years' marketing experience
- Experience within events and/or partnerships
- Hands‑on B2B event planning and delivery experience
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using CRM systems – Hub Spot experience would be advantageous
- Good understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Ability to analyse marketing activity and report on performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
Experience within technology, IT services, Saa S or an MSP environment would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
We're equally interested in candidates from other B2B sectors such as professional services.
This is a particularly good opportunity for someone who has gained a solid grounding in marketing but now wants greater ownership of events, partnerships and engagement activity within an established business.
