Opportunity Overview
Our company has the perfect opportunity for a candidate who looks forward to new product releases by top brands. This Full Time Retail Sales Specialist role is ideal for an individual who can work effectively with store management to increase retail sales and execute client-driven merchandising that meets the client\’s expectations. The sales representative will need to be outgoing, friendly, and capable of driving sales and brand awareness for our client\’s products at major retail locations. You will be engaging and educating customers on their next purchase of some of the leading brands in retail.

Salary Range: CAD $44,000 – $50,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKUs.
- Communicate effectively both internally with management and externally with all customers.
- Sell at store level \”live orders\” on multiple clients (>5 clients) in over 50% of their stores monthly.
- Increase sales volume through promotional activities such as building displays, creating themed displays for holiday/special promos, and adjusting planograms as needed.
- Ensure all authorized client items on shelves have accurate tags and remove un-saleable or out-of-code products.
- Work on item authorization to meet client shelf schematic standards, including tagging, rotating, and POS placement.
- Achieve client goals by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards.
- Spend over 4 days per month preparing for and making wholesaler subgroup headquarter calls, with at least four subgroup calls.
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, including recaps, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience (Required); Bachelor\’s Degree or 0-2 years of experience in retail, client, or food brokerage (Preferred).
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
- Mathematical and analytical skills.
