The Impact You’ll Make:
- Clinical Delivery: Manage the continuous monitoring of vital signs and lead the administration of complex medications and life‑sustaining interventions.
- Technical Excellence: Expertly operate and manage life‑support equipment, including ventilators, arterial lines, and infusion pumps, ensuring total physiological stability.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous standards of patient safety and infection control, adhering to the latest intensive care clinical pathways and Trust protocols.
- Operational Success: Collaborate seamlessly with the multidisciplinary team to adjust individualised care plans in response to fluctuating patient acuity.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 12 months NHS or relevant UK experience, specifically within a critical care or ICU environment.
- Credentials: Mandatory Nursing degree and active NMC registration.
- Logistics: Advanced life support certification is preferred; must be competent in high‑pressure medical emergency response.
