We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ER Advisor with NHS experience to support a high-volume caseload in a complex and fast-paced unionised healthcare setting. You will work proactively with managers to resolve ER cases and contribute to the delivery of a supportive, compliant, and effective ER service.
Location: Croydon (4 days on site 1-day WFH)
Job Type: Temporary
Duration of booking: Expected to last 4 months with possible extension
Proposed start date: ASAP
Pay Rates: Up to £22.09 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
Hours / Working Days: 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities:- Manage a substantial caseload involving absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues.
- Advise and support managers in line with NHS policies and employment legislation.
- Work in partnership with staff-side representatives to achieve resolution.
- Provide tailored ER advice and guidance to ensure fair and consistent handling of cases.
- Support the collation and reporting of ER metrics, including headcount and case volumes.
- Essential: NHS employee relations experience.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, complex environment with large headcount and caseloads.
- Strong understanding of employment law and NHS terms and conditions.
- Able to work on-site a minimum of 4 days per week.
- Effective communicator and problem solver with a collaborative approach.
