Associate Director of CHC

Hybrid / Flexible (some on-site required) £500 per day (outside IR35) Initial 3–6 months (with likely extension) NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Associate Director of CHC to lead and oversee the delivery of Continuing Healthcare services for a forward-thinking NHS organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident senior leader with a proven track record in CHC to make a real impact on service delivery, performance improvement, and system-wide transformation. Key Responsibilities: * Provide strategic leadership across the CHC function, ensuring alignment with national NHS frameworks and local system priorities * Oversee operational performance and service delivery for CHC assessments, reviews, and case management * Drive service improvement, financial sustainability, and compliance * Work closely with ICB, CSU, provider organisations, and partner stakeholders * Support system integration and transformation agendas related to CHC and funded care * Provide expert advice to the executive team and represent the service at board and system level meetings Ideal Candidate: * Proven senior leadership within CHC / NHS funded care at AD level or equivalent * Strong understanding of the NHS National Framework for CHC and related statutory responsibilities * Experience managing complex casework, service transformation, and budget control * Excellent stakeholder management and partnership working across health and social care * A values-driven leader with a passion for high-quality, person-centred care This is a high-impact role that offers the chance to shape the future of CHC delivery while driving up standards and ensuring sustainability in a challenging health and care environment.
