We are seeking experienced ADHD Assessors for our ADHD assessment and Treatment service for adults across the UK. The service provides fast, evidence based diagnostic assessments, safe medication initiation and titration and ongoing reviews.
You will deliver high-quality ADHD Assessments and diagnostic decisions. This role focuses on assessment and diagnosis, with the addition of independent prescribing if a V300 qualification is held. This is a contractor role based on a Hybrid or Remote (UK-based) model.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- ADHD Assessment and Diagnosis
- Conducting comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults in line with NICE NG87
- Use differential diagnostic tools
- Document diagnostic outcomes and clinical rationale
- Care Planning and Recommendations
- Formulate and document treatment and support recommendations
- Make recommendations for medication, psychoeducation and therapy
- Risk, Safeguarding and Governance
- Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs
- Escalate concerns appropriately
- Clinical Documentation
- Create and maintain accurate clinical records
- Produce assessment reports
What We’re Looking For:
- Current NMC or HCPC registration
- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional
- ADHD assessment and diagnosis experience
- Working knowledge of ADHD presentations
- Experience with remote assessments
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively
- Good knowledge of legislation relevant to ADHD practice
