An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced

Medical Director to join an innovative and rapidly growing private healthcare organisation based in Nottingham.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a clinically driven individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, driving innovation and helping shape the future of healthcare services.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will provide strategic clinical leadership, act as the

CQC Registered Manager , and play a key role in identifying, developing and launching new healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic clinical leadership across the organisation.
  • Act as the

CQC Registered Manager , ensuring the service meets all regulatory requirements and quality standards.

  • Lead on clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to develop and introduce new healthcare services.
  • Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to support business growth and innovation.
  • Ensure all clinical services are delivered in line with CQC standards, clinical best practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor and support multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Develop and review clinical policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
  • Represent the organisation with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies where required.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered healthcare professional with current UK registration (GMC preferred).
  • Previous experience in a senior clinical leadership or Medical Director role.
  • Experience acting as, or eligibility to become, a

CQC Registered Manager .

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance and healthcare compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead service development and implement new clinical services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with a passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes.
