Histology Biomedical Scientist – Specialist, Band 7 Locum Contract until December 2026 Initially | Edinburgh We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Biomedical Scientist to join a busy Histology laboratory in Edinburgh on a locum basis until the end of the year initially. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled histology specialist to bring their expertise to a well-equipped, fast-paced laboratory in Edinburgh on a locum basis. You will play a key role in supporting diagnostic turnaround times while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Undertaking IQC for immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology microtomy Ensuring compliance with quality standards and laboratory accreditation requirements Supporting the wider histology team to meet service demands HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist Strong working knowledge of IQC processes for IHC and molecular pathology Available to start at short notice (locum candidates preferred) Contract Details Band 7 (or equivalent) – Locum Full-time
