Position Title: Consultant in Dermatology
Location: West Sussex
Contract Duration: Expected to last for 3–4 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Rates: up to £110 Paye via DE
Role Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Dermatology Consultant to provide day-to-day clinical care for dermatology patients in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will deliver both general and specialist dermatology services, including skin cancer and inflammatory dermatoses clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct new and follow-up outpatient consultations, assessing, diagnosing, and managing a broad range of dermatological conditions.
- Participate in specialist dermatology clinics (e.g., skin cancer, inflammatory dermatoses, and other sub-specialties as required).
- Perform minor surgical procedures during day-case theatre sessions, including excisions and biopsies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Contribute to service development and clinical governance activities.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Must be on the Specialist Register in Dermatology.
- Demonstrated experience in outpatient dermatology and minor surgical procedures.
- Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
