We are seeking experienced Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Therapists to join our Children’s Autism MDT Assessment Service. This project will be delivered in partnership with Trust and involves the completion of approximately 227 full diagnostic assessments within the agreed timeframe.

Clinicians will work as part of multidisciplinary teams alongside Paediatricians and Psychiatrists, supported by YW management and administrative teams.

  • Conduct face-to-face ASD assessments for children and young people using ADOS-2 / ADI-R.
  • Produce high-quality clinical reports with recommendations and developmental insights.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and case documentation via SystemOne (training provided).
  • Experience in paediatric ASD assessment within an MDT setting (minimum 2 years desirable).
  • Up-to-date mandatory training including Safeguarding Children Level 3.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete).
  • Strong written communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work within clinic hours (9:00am–7:00pm, Monday–Friday).
  • NHS laptop and telephone provided by The Trust (collection required).
  • Report writing may be completed remotely, within agreed SOP timescales.
