Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an ADOS/ADI-R Assessor in Greater London. The assessor will conduct autism diagnostic assessments using ADOS and ADI-R tools for children and young people. Daily responsibilities include:
- Evaluating clients’ developmental history
- Administering structured assessments
- Preparing detailed reports
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans
Qualifications
- Advanced training in ADOS and ADI-R administration and interpretation
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), cognitive development, and behavioural frameworks
- Professional qualifications as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech and Language Therapist (SLT)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant experience in conducting assessments with children and young people
- Registration with HCPC or equivalent regulatory body
- Experience in working in a healthcare or clinical setting is advantageous
