About the Role
We are launching a brand-new ADHD assessment and treatment service, with the ambition to expand into NHS “Right to Choose” pathways. We’re seeking a Clinical Lead (Independent Prescriber) to shape, lead, and grow our clinical operations from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to design pathways, build governance, and lead prescribing for a pioneering ADHD service that will initially support adults, with future expansion into children’s and adolescent care.
As Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Director, acting as the senior clinical voice and helping to establish a high-quality, CQC-compliant service that meets both private and NHS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership & Prescribing – Lead on prescribing and titration of ADHD medication using V300 authority, ensuring safety, best practice, and patient-centred care.
- Service Development – Build ADHD clinical pathways, SOPs, and governance frameworks aligned with NICE NG87.
- Team Leadership – Recruit, train, and supervise future clinicians, fostering a positive and skilled team culture.
- Service Expansion – Support the transition into children’s ADHD services and future NHS “Right to Choose” contracts.
- Clinical Practice – Carry a small caseload of complex patients and provide expert consultation as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RMN/RGN) with valid NMC registration
- 5+ years’ senior experience in ADHD, mental health, or neurodevelopmental services
- Proven experience in service development, governance, and policy writing
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
- A proactive, adaptable professional who thrives in a start-up environment
Why Join Us?
- Be part of building a new service from the ground up – your input will shape its future.
- Hybrid working model combining telehealth and in-clinic days.
- Competitive salary and benefits package, including pension, annual leave, and potential private health cover.
- Clear career progression, with the opportunity to step into Clinical Director-level leadership as the service expands.
