  • Salary: Band 2, £25,949 per annum (pro-rate for part time hours) / £13.45 per hour

What will my role be as a Leisure Attendant?

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes lifeguarding and poolside supervision, preparation, moving and dismantling of equipment, housekeeping and supporting with functions and events. You will also attend ongoing training to maintain NPLQ qualification and to achieve by re-qualification.

What do I need to have?

  • Hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • Experience of dealing with customers and groups, clubs and organisations
  • Hold Emergency First Aid or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and members of the public
  • Friendly; ability to follow laid down procedures, work under pressure and without constant supervision; outgoing person who likes to work with different clients

  • Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
