Salary: Band 8a, £49,389 - £55,301 per annum (pro-rate for part time)
Hours: 29.6 – 37 hours per week
Location: Hybrid Working – Office, Home and Boroughwide
What will my role be as a CPP Programme Director?
The CPP Programme Director will provide strategic leadership for Culture Co-op, turning its vision into an ambitious, inclusive and community-led cultural programmes for Rochdale Borough.
The postholder will have responsibility for the development and delivery of the objective of the Arts Council England CPP Funding Agreement, leading the Culture Co-op Team, working closely with Consortium Partners and communities and ensuring the programme delivers against the objectives.
What do I need to have?
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject or qualified by experience
- Extensive experience as a senior manager / leader in a cultural venue or community setting
- Proven track record of using research, consultation and socially engaged practise to develop and deliver large artistic programmes
- Proven and successful experience of managing teams across multiple disciplines
- Experience of providing strategic leadership, building influence and developing effective relationships with senior stakeholders and strategic partners
- Enthusiasm for mentoring, supporting and developing emerging facilitators, producers and community leads.
- Proven track record of securing the sustainability and legacy of large creative programmes/projects
- Knowledge of cooperative values and use cooperative tools and approaches in your practice
- Project management skills, including programme planning, governance, risk management and performance monitoring
- Demonstrable knowledge of compliance and best practice regarding health and safety, risk assessment and management of public events planning
- Excellent report writing and proof-reading skills
- Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
