Salary: Band 3, Β£25,040 β Β£28,252 per annum (pro-rate for part time hours)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Rochdale Leisure Centre
What will my role be as a Fitness Manager
The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes leading, developing and managing all aspects of our fitness suites and studio spaces in terms of enhancing member experience in the gym by delivering inductions, programmes and reviews, in terms of studio based group exercise classes, by adhering to Your Trust brand standards and in terms of increasing and maintaining the fitness membership base of the centre.
What do I need to have?
- Qualified to Level 2/3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Experience of working in a customer facing, target driven environment with a proven record of achieving results
- Experience of working in a gym environment
- Hold REPS Level 3 or equivalent
- Hold First Aid at Work Certificate or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months
- Ability to use own initiative and think commercially to support the development of the service
- Knowledge of delivering new membership sales and developing and delivering lead generation plans
- Confidence and ability to teach high quality group exercise classes
- Confidence and ability to teach high quality group exercise classes
- Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
