Location: Paignton
Salary: Up to Β£35,000
Contract: Permanent | Full-time

Were partnering with an exciting and growing business thats looking to bring a WordPressDeveloper into their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in WordPress whos keen to develop their skills, take on more responsibility, and grow alongside the business.

The role

Youll be involved in the full lifecycle of WordPress development, working closely with designers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly websites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building, customising, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins

  • Supporting both front-end and back-end development tasks

  • Translating designs and requirements into responsive, SEO-friendly websites

  • Integrating third-party tools, APIs, and e-commerce platforms

  • Troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and providing ongoing technical support

  • Keeping up to date with WordPress updates, trends, and best practices

What were looking for

  • Proven experience working with WordPress

  • Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience customising WordPress themes and plugins

  • Understanding of responsive design principles

  • Basic knowledge of website performance optimisation and SEO
