What are we looking for?
You don’t need to know how to do everything from day one, but you will need to be comfortable working across different systems, teams and priorities, and know when to ask the right person for help. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in administration and client communication, supported by a relevant qualification, degree or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
- Is highly organised and accurate, particularly when working with records and data.
- Can manage deadlines and multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail.
- Communicates clearly and confidently with different types of people, both internally and externally.
- Is comfortable understanding a process from start to finish and coordinating with others to keep things moving.
- Can work independently while also being a supportive member of a wider team.
- Takes confidentiality seriously and understands the importance of protecting personal and commercially sensitive information.
Desirable experience:
Previous experience using a ticketing system would be helpful, as would experience supporting or coordinating projects involving different teams and deadlines.
The person:
This role would suit someone who naturally brings order to a busy environment. You’ll notice the small details, communicate when something needs attention and be comfortable dealing with a mixture of clients, suppliers and colleagues. You’ll need to be calm, considerate and approachable, while having the confidence to take ownership of your work and make sure things don’t get lost between teams.
Our client is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
