Key Responsibilities
- Support Nursery Practitioners in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Assist with planning and delivering fun, engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Help supervise children during play, meal times, and outdoor activities.
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting is desirable.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is beneficial but not essential.
- A positive, caring, and patient attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
