Key Responsibilities

  • Support Nursery Practitioners in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Assist with planning and delivering fun, engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Help supervise children during play, meal times, and outdoor activities.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting is desirable.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is beneficial but not essential.
  • A positive, caring, and patient attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
