CACHE Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Teaching Assistant – School Setting
Location: Newham, E16, East London
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
Working Hours: 7:50am – 2:50pm
Pay Rate: £96–£110 per day, depending on experience
About the Role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable CACHE Level 3 qualified practitioner to join a welcoming school in Newham, E16.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a school environment.
The school operates to support working parents, so consistent attendance and reliability are essential. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, from 7:50am to 2:50pm, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning, development and daily activities.
- Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
- Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times.
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and children's wellbeing.
- Work effectively with teachers, support staff and other professionals.
- Ensure children's safety and follow all school policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised CACHE Level 3 qualification in childcare or a relevant equivalent.
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
- Relevant safeguarding and child protection training for working with children.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school or childcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach.
- Punctuality, reliability and a professional attitude.
