Key Responsibilities
- Support the care and learning of children aged 0-5 years.
- Assist in planning and delivering fun, engaging activities that support children's development.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating nursery environment.
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development through play and interaction.
- Observe and record children's progress under the guidance of senior staff.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements
- A Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting is desirable.
- A basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- A caring, patient, and reliable approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
