About the Role
Your Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive nursery in Tower Hamlets to recruit an experienced and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their EYFS team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years environment, helping to deliver high-quality, play-based learning and supporting children at a crucial stage in their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Deliver and support structured play-based learning activities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Support speech, language and early development
- Assist with classroom routines, transitions and behaviour management
- Work collaboratively with teachers and EYFS staff to support learning and development
- Help maintain a safe, engaging and well-organised learning environment
Requirements (Essential)
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
- Experience supporting children with additional needs (SEN)
- Knowledge of phonics and early language development
