We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our therapeutic Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in South Croydon. Our school supports secondary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing a nurturing, structured, and therapeutic environment where every young person can thrive.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support secondary-aged pupils with ASD both in and outside the classroom.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver personalised learning and therapeutic interventions.
  • Help create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
  • Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils and their families.
