CACHE Level 3 Nursery Manager
Location: Bromley, BR1, South East London
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
Working Hours: 8am – 6pm
Pay Rate: Depending on experience
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead an up-and-coming nursery in Bromley, BR1.
The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, lead and support staff, ensure high standards of childcare and safeguarding, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm. Strong leadership, reliability and EYFS knowledge are essential.
Vacancy for Room Lead & Deputy Manager are also available.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall day-to-day running and management of the nursery.
- Lead, manage and motivate staff, ensuring effective team performance.
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements.
- Monitor children's learning, development and overall wellbeing.
- Build strong relationships with parents, staff and external professionals.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, appraisals and performance.
- Maintain nursery records, policies, procedures and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, resources and occupancy levels.
- Ensure the nursery provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised CACHE Level 3 qualification in childcare or a relevant equivalent.
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
- Relevant safeguarding and child protection training for working with children.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school or childcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach.
- Punctuality, reliability and a professional attitude.
