About the Role
- Deliver engaging, subject-specialist lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable), supporting student achievement and maintaining high standards of learning, behaviour, and progress while completing your ECT induction.
- Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN students.
- Contributing to departmental planning, resources, and curriculum development.
- Taking on form tutor responsibilities where required and supporting pastoral care.
- Engaging fully with the school's structured ECT induction and mentoring programme.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by September 2026.
- Eligibility to begin or continue the Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction.
- Strong subject knowledge in your specialist teaching area.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Available full-time from September 2026.
