About the Role
As an Early Career Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and creating a positive learning environment while continuing your professional development through a structured ECT programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Establish positive behaviour expectations and classroom routines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers.
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Engage fully with the school's ECT support and development programme.
Requirements:
- Essential Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by September 2026.
- Eligible to begin or continue the Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction programme.
- Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Available full-time from September 2026.
