We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to lead a PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) class in a supportive and well-resourced school in SE15. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher or a passionate teacher with a strong interest in supporting pupils with complex learning needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, highly personalised learning experiences that promote communication, independence, and wellbeing.
The Role:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday
- Teaching a class of pupils with PMLD
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with pupils with PMLD, SLD, or complex needs
- Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, positive, and flexible approach
