Your Teaching is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and supportive primary and secondary schools across Croydon. We are looking for candidates with previous experience supporting children within a UK school environment. Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional learning needs, is highly desirable.
Schools are recruiting for both immediate starts and September 2026 positions. Suitable candidates can be invited for trial days and interviews as soon as possible.
About the Role
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and within the classroom.
- Support pupils with SEN, adapting learning where required.
- Help promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a UK school.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN is highly desirable.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Available to work full-time (Monday - Friday).
