Your Teaching is working closely with a range of well-run and supportive primary schools across Dagenham, all looking to secure strong classroom practitioners for both long-term roles and flexible day-to-day cover. About the Role:
- You will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils can thrive.
- You will assess and track pupil progress, adapt your teaching to meet individual needs, and maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance and achievement.
- In long-term roles, you will also take on planning, assessment, and wider class responsibilities, while in day-to-day placements you will follow school plans and provide high-quality cover.
- You will work closely with colleagues, support staff, parents and carers to maximise pupil outcomes and contribute positively to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- A proactive, professional and adaptable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Desirable:
- Experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Ability to quickly adapt to new school environments and routines
