Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
- Observe, assess, and record children's learning and development.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Support children's individual learning and development needs.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Early Years team.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and setting policies at all times.
Requirements
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare, or an equivalent recognised qualification, is essential.
- Previous experience working in an early years, nursery, pre-school, or childcare setting.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Level 3 qualification is a strict requirement for this role.
- Candidates must hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification or recognised equivalent.
